What’s better than a whole breakfast with some coffee in the morning at home? Doing the same at Coffee Bean and Tea leaf. We chose the Saket ouflet at the Select Citywalk mall as our haunt for a particular Monday. Getting the funk off, we started with the Caramel Macchiato/ Surprised to see such a huge mug full of coffee we were surely off with a pleasant start. The blend was perfect. Though warned by our server that it has just black coffee with milk foam it turned out to be just what the doctor had ordered. The milk foam was enough to give the coffee some volume and the caramel was more than enough to make up for the sweetness. Of course they give you sachets of sugar to go with.

Manoj the manager was more than willing to guide us to the right direction with this and suggested we start the day with a smoked chicken croissant. And yes it was the most brilliant stuffed croissant a coffee shop has to offer. Full with tons of bots of well done chick bits, boiled egg slices, ham and just the right amount of ham and mayo on a well toasted croissant made for a hearty meal. Yes meal. No one can finish this thing off by themselves it is a mouthful for sure. Going a bit easy next we ordered an egg white only omelette and got just that. With a choice of mushroom, onion, masala or plain we went with the mushroom option and were happy to get one not overloaded with the shrooms. It was light and fluffy just like we’d make it at home. It came with a lot of toast but sure the toasts were done well.

To down all of this we needed some lube and found the best kind in the form or the standard cappuccino. A full-bodied cup of coffee that can knock anyone’s socks off. The best thing about the place was the quantity of the beverages. They’d say it is a small serving and it would turn out to be exactly the amount you’d give yourself at home.

For one visit I thought I couldn’t get enough coffee for myself specially considering how amazing each one of them were done. To really kickstart our morning, we ordered a Chicago cheese cake. The simplest of baked cheese cakes was served made specially to hit the spot. This made the breakfast whole. So thick and so smooth, it is the best thing you could have at the outlet by far. A not to heavy on the pocket affair that leaves you full and fulfilled in all ways Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Saket is a must visit, not just for breakfast but at any time of the day.
